Bookline is organizing a festival for Generation Z readers: the bookvibeZ Festival, set to debut in April 2026 as the largest BookTok community event in Hungary. The aim of the festival is to bring the worlds of books, authors, and BookTok creators closer together, allowing the community to meet not only online but also in person—among others, with Samantha Shannon and Betti Kollár.
Launching next spring, the bookvibeZ Festival speaks directly to the book-loving Generation Z community. This one-of-a-kind event in Hungary will welcome visitors at the Millenáris G Building, offering a full day of programs for those interested in books and reading. Bookline’s goal is to give members of the BookTok community the opportunity to meet each other offline and to connect with the most successful and popular BookTok bestselling authors.
The festival’s biggest highlight will be Samantha Shannon. One of the most prominent figures in contemporary British fantasy literature, she rose to international fame with her The Bone Season series and enjoys immense popularity on BookTok as well. The participation of Betti Kollár and Adéle Dan has also been officially confirmed. Both are defining authors of Generation Z and popular BookTok creators. Betti Kollár has built a large and active readership in a short time with her romantic and humorous stories, while Adéle Dan has done the same with her dark fantasy and dark romance novels. Their books regularly appear on Bookline’s bestseller lists.
The organizers are preparing to announce additional names, with more star authors from both the international and Hungarian book markets expected.
The festival will feature stage talks, author–reader meet-and-greets, book signings, and workshops, and the program will also be complemented by light music concerts from performers popular with Generation Z. The bookvibeZ social media channels will launch soon, where Bookline will share the latest news and updates.
Ticket sales will begin in January 2026.
