A unique master’s program in book studies launches at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary in professional cooperation with Libri

A training cooperation agreement was signed by Gyula Köbli, CEO of Libri-Bookline Zrt. and Managing Director of the Libri Publishing Group, and László Trócsányi, Rector of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, on January 15 at the Károlyi–Csekonics Palace. The two-semester master’s program providing professional knowledge in the book trade and publishing will be launched at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Károli Gáspár University in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, starting in September 2026. Applications for the master’s program in book trade and publishing studies can be submitted from February 1, 2026, via the website felvi.hu. By launching the program, the shared goal of the University and Libri is to create a higher education program that offers marketable, practice-oriented knowledge and, in the long term, ensures a highly skilled and talented new generation of professionals for the book industry.

The Libri Group will provide scholarships for students, and for graduates of the program it will issue a Libri Talent honorary certificate as part of its talent development program. In addition to the master’s degree diploma, this certificate will significantly support graduates in their professional placement and career start.

Within the framework of its corporate social responsibility, alongside its existing programs and initiatives, Libri places strong emphasis on talent development. By offering increased support to Hungarian authors, creating market-oriented scholarships, and launching gap-filling educational programs, the group aims to contribute to social development and competitiveness, as well as to the preservation of the values of Hungarian culture.
