Teachers, healthcare workers, and law enforcement officers can shop at Libri bookstores and the libri.hu online store with a 20% Easter discount from today until Wednesday. Throughout the year, the company pays special attention to promoting reading and supporting access to books among as wide a range of social groups as possible.
Starting this year, members of the National Association of Large Families in Hungary and the National Association of Autistic People in Hungary will also receive permanent discounts at Libri bookstores upon presentation of their membership cards. It is extremely important for the largest participant in the Hungarian book market not only to cooperate with its partners in social programs promoting reading, but also to provide them with discounts.

Public service employees to receive 20% discount once again this year
For years, the book retailer has been running a popular initiative whereby, on several occasions throughout the year, it offers a 20% discount on special days to public service workers who perform selfless work for society on a daily basis, including teachers, healthcare workers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and disaster response personnel. This spring is no different: between April 14 and 16, readers are welcome at Libri bookstores, where they can claim their discount by showing their ID card. Of course, it is also possible to make discounted purchases on the libri.hu website, using codes sent directly to public service organisations.
Make 2025 the Year of Reading!
This year, one of Libri’s primary goals is to draw special attention to the joy and importance of reading – which is why they launched their “Year of Reading” campaign. One of the main objectives of this initiative is, once again, to encourage as many people as possible to pick up a book, as the appeal sent to public service organizations states: reading is one of the best ways to relax.
