The ten-part series, titled <em data-start=\"191\" data-end=\"204\">Vil\u00e1glapoz\u00f3<\/em> (\u201cWorld Reader\u201d), explores the cultural heritage and everyday life of different regions \u2014 the first three episodes introduce South America, Scandinavia, and Central Europe. Listeners will get to know both well-known and lesser-known authors, as well as the most remarkable classic and contemporary works from each region. The podcast is hosted by musician Laci Sallai, frontman of the band <em data-start=\"599\" data-end=\"614\">Fels\u0151 T\u00edzezer<\/em> and bassist of <em data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"647\">Platon Karataev<\/em>, and each episode features guests who are literary experts, translators, and cultural professionals familiar with the given region. These are among the many questions explored in the first episodes of <em data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1329\">Vil\u00e1glapoz\u00f3<\/em>, produced by Libri in collaboration with <strong data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1388\">Betone Studio.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1804\">\u201cIf you want to understand the world better, read books and travel often,\u201d says host <strong data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1493\">Laci Sallai<\/strong> at the start of each episode. The series encourages listeners to discover and better understand the literature and culture of various continents and countries. Our new podcast aims to provide a guide through this vibrant mix \u2014 whether you\u2019re traveling through books or in real life. I try to read everything from youth literature to the great Russian novels. While recording the episodes, I kept jotting down titles to add to my reading list \u2014 the guests mentioned so many fascinating books. These podcast episodes are great for discovering new reading ideas and approaches, and they show how literature truly is a window to the world. Throughout the year, Libri encourages everyone to \u201ccollect pages\u201d by tracking the number of pages they read \u2014 with the goal of collectively \u201ccircling the Earth\u201d by the end of the year, converting pages read into distances traveled.
