The bookvibeZ festival for Gen Z to be held for the first time<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Favorites of Gen Z readers\u2014including Anna Todd, author of the After<\/em> series, Samantha Shannon, writer of The Bone Season<\/em> and The Priory of the Orange Tree<\/em>, and Laura Nowlin, author of the bestseller If He Had Been with Me<\/em>\u2014will come to Budapest on April 24\u201325. The bookvibeZ Festival brings the world of BookTok and Bookstagram off the screens and into real life. Over two days, visitors can enjoy book signings, stage talks, workshops and creative sessions, fanfiction and content-creation programs, as well as an acoustic concert by Gerg\u0151 D\u00e1nielfy and a Taylor Swift party.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n

The bookvibeZ Festival will take place on April 24\u201325 in Building D of the Millen\u00e1ris in Budapest, creating the first opportunity in Hungary for the BookTok and Bookstagram communities to meet offline.<\/p>\n\n

Among the festival\u2019s guests is American author Anna Todd, writer of the After<\/em> series and one of the most prominent voices in romance and new adult fiction, whose books were adapted into films starting in 2019. One of today\u2019s most renowned fantasy authors, Samantha Shannon, will also attend, alongside Laura Nowlin, who has gained popularity among young readers with her emotionally rich stories. Other featured guests include Axie Oh, known for her romantic fantasy and sci-fi novels such as The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea<\/em> and XOXO<\/em>, and Mary E. Pearson, a defining figure in fantasy and young adult literature, author of The Remnant Chronicles<\/em> and Dance of Thieves<\/em>. Kristen Ciccarelli has built a wide fan base with her fantasy novels, while Brooke Fast is a notable contemporary author in the dystopian romantasy genre.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Over the two days, visitors can take part in author talks, book signings, workshops, and community events. On April 24, Brooke Fast will be in conversation with one of the event\u2019s hosts, Viki L\u00e1szl\u00f3, on the topic of Human Relationships in a Dystopian World<\/em>, followed by a signing session and photo opportunities. Anna Todd will also take the stage that day, while Betone Studio will broadcast several podcasts from the festival. An episode of the joint podcast TBR<\/em> by K\u00f6nyves Magazin and Bookline will also be recorded on-site, and Beni B\u00e1nki will hold two workshops titled Sat\u00edrvers<\/em> and Sz\u00f6vegmix<\/em>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

In addition to international authors, Hungarian writers Ad\u00e8le Dan, Betti Koll\u00e1r, and B. E. Belle will also participate. Ad\u00e8le Dan\u2019s works sit at the intersection of dark fantasy and romance, and on April 25 she will join a discussion focusing on the relationship between dark romantasy and mental health. Betti Koll\u00e1r and B. E. Belle, both well-known authors of Hungarian romantic fiction, will sign books in the Authors\u2019 Alley.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Beyond author meetups, the bookvibeZ festival offers a wide range of side programs: visitors can create unique calligraphy, design their own bookmarks and bath bombs, test their literary knowledge in \u00c1lmos Bartha\u2019s quiz, or recharge with Sunset Book Yoga or book-themed Pilates sessions. In the evenings, music takes center stage: on Friday, an acoustic concert by Gerg\u0151 D\u00e1nielfy will be held, while on Saturday participants can party to Taylor Swift hits.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Throughout the event, books will be available for purchase, allowing visitors to have newly bought copies signed by their favorite authors.<\/p>\n\n
