In April 2025, the Bookline Page Turners network reached another important milestone: as part of the Liget Budapest Project, a new outdoor book exchange point was opened in collaboration with Városliget Zrt. at one of Budapest’s most popular family destinations, right next to the playground.

The Bookline Page Turner was ceremoniously unveiled by Benedek Gyorgyevics, CEO of Városliget Zrt., and Gyula Köbli, CEO of Libri-Bookline Zrt., who were the first to place books in the installation at the event. A school class also attended the press launch, bringing their own books with them and immediately putting the book exchange point to use. The active and enthusiastic presence of the students clearly shows that the initiative is truly reaching its most important target group: young readers.

The location was chosen deliberately: the Page Turner is located near the playground at Városliget, which is very popular with families, ensuring that the books reach as wide an audience as possible.
The opening of the Page Turner at Városliget is yet another example of what Libri-Bookline can do to promote book culture through value-based partnerships, with a particular focus on reaching younger generations. The Page Turner supports sustainability, promotes reading, and creates community experiences all at once.
